Due to non-compliance with their tax obligations, the General Tax Directorate, part of the Ministry of Finance, closed 15 businesses for five natural days in San Jos\u00e9, Guanacaste, Heredia, Puntarenas, and Lim\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the total establishments sanctioned, 13 did not pay the corresponding taxes within the time stipulated by law, and two did not submit their declarations within the established timeframe. These businesses include hotels, restaurants, and the sale of agrochemical products. They will continue throughout the year as part of the Administration&#8217;s commitment in its fight against tax evasion,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">said Mario Ramos Mart\u00ednez,
